Rolls & Spare Parts
Turner fully supports all of its historic machinery products, supplying rolls and spare parts.
It does not matter whether the machine was built by Mackintosh Hemphill, Wyko or Turner, we have all the build records ready to manufacture rolls and spare parts to the OEM specifications and tolerances.
Rolls
The work rolls are a vital part of any straightening machine. At Turner, designing and optimizing roll profiles is a science where the combined knowledge of hundreds of applications is bought to bare using advanced computer algorithms to determine the appropriate profile that correctly covers the range of sizes that the customer processes through a specific size of machine.
New rolls for the majority of applications are manufactured from tool steel, through hardened and ground to computer generated and optimized profiles. We also manufacture rolls in tungsten carbide for straightening hard and abrasive alloys where the customer can justify the much higher cost.
And ... If you are using a Bronx, Sutton or other older machine. We reverse engineer and manufacture rolls that will perform better than the OEM equivalent. Why do we do that? Because, our customers deserve the best, and we are the straightening experts ... It’s all we do !
Spare Parts
Our extensive archives of machine build specifications and drawings of machine parts stretches back to the early 1940’s. Any straightening machine built under the trade name of Mackintosh Hemphill can be supported with parts made to the OEM specifications.
If you have the serial number, we can supply the mechanical part!
We also have all the drawings for every machine made by Wyko Equipments Ltd, England. So no matter whether your machine was built by Mackintosh Hemphill, Wyko or Turner, we can supply the part you need.
